Bumped Up: The IMA Nuesse Report

Since this blog wasn't around when the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance came out with their report on the Nuesse case, I'm wondering if there are any readers interested in giving some analysis of the document.

I'm reading it again and will post some items that jump out at me. Just off the top of my head, I can't get over the fact that Mr. Kline didn't have a single piece of paper (written complaints, FOP grievances) to back up his decision to place Nuesse on administrative leave. The other point is that the report is just as poorly written as the Murman Report! (Were they rushed to get it done? Upon further reading, yes, it appears so.)

UPDATE: I summarized the IMA's report with their major points. Follow link below.

Shyster politics are involved and when you have this situation, various people are controlling the environment of Sandusky. Just when you start to get close to the situation, the various people controlling it, start intimidating others. Everyone knows the facts by now. Nuesse won't be able to get a fair hearing until she goes to Federal Court before a jury. Baily is just laying the ground work for the big case. We all know what the civil hearing judge is going to do. It is predictiable that the judge will rule in the city's favor. There will be no surprises here because of the way the hearing was conducted. How is it good for the city's side to do something but not good the the defense?

To 411: Regards to your recall poll listing. You can't recall Kline as he was not elected in by the people. He has been appointed by the commissioners so you must recall the commissioners who appointed him. Recall never works. The only thing that does work is getting yourself to the polls and voting these shysters out of office that are making such bad decisions for the city. The people can call your commissioners or come to the commission meetings and let your commissioner know you feel about Kline. Maybe if enough pressure is placed on the commissioners, they just might do something about it before it becomes too late for the city.

Recall petitions may not have much effect, but petitions do. Just look at the petitions to have the MD revoted, if it wasn't for those petitions the commissioners would never have broken the law and voted an emergency legislation. Recall petitions do work, the commissioners cannot stop the recall vote of petitioneers. Once you have enough signatures it has to go on the ballot and that ballot must be almost immediately.

Fuqua and Farrar seem to be taking up a seat and not representing the citizens very well. Once they compaigned on doing what is right for the city they turned their backs on the voters and cashed in with the GOBs. Can't say I was surprised having observed how they operated before being elected to the city commission.

Now Stall and Warner are a different story since they are both arrogant, opinionated and are full of themselves always seeking favor with special interests that DO NOT serve the citizens long term needs in the city. I expect that Farrar, Fuqua, Stall and Weiner will all be thrown out of office if anyone runs against them.

Now Wad is a dissappointment because he seems to be brainwashed by Stall and that lawyer who left the city commission. Pervis Brown is a bit lost not certain who he is representing because of the way he was picked to fill the vacancy and needs to find his own voice and stop trying to the a GOB.

Lastly, Kaman needs to be a bit more aggressive because his leadership along with Wad and Brown could reverse the mistakes the city commission has been making over the last 3 years but then that would take terminating the law director, the city manager and dumping the Marina Disaster Project.

Yep, I realize Kline can't be recalled. I put his name in the poll to guage public opinion of his leadership.

To 411, maybe you should have started a poll on how the citizens think Kline is doing, not that it matters to the commissioners what the citizens think.

If you wanted a fair poll on recall, you should have included a "none of the above" option for those of us who don't think a recall is neccessary.
